# how safe are direct downloads? also, proxies?

Just wondering… I stubled upon a forum yesterday (not sure how lol) dedicated to providing bit-torrent links, IRC channels, DD links, ect… you just have to be a member (and post in the topic) to see any of it.

everything from movies to software.

shoot me a PM if you want the link

also, would using a proxie keep you any safer?

Using a proxy would be slowwwww,safer sure.But who do you think is gonna get ya? LOL

well if i had to guess i would say the MPAA, RIAA, and any number of other anti-p2p, anti-piracy organizations lol.

somewhere around 800 million separate ip addresses last time i updated my peerguardian list. :tspry:
