# How to Change a Water Pump in 93' 240SX Coupe

Got a 240SX and I have to change the water pump and I dont know how! Anybody know how or know a good site I can get the procedure from?

Its EASY.
1. Pull off mechanical fan
2. take off belts
3. unbolt waterpump (have a pan under for coolant)
4. install
check out the links for the FSM at the top of the page

what he said…its very simple…just need to take all the stuff off thats in the way…should take about an hour!

Just to add, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for you to spend 20$ on a haynes manual for your car. If you’re going to be doing anything to your car. This makes life sooo unbelievably easy. IE. what the other guy said, but for other things as well.
Just a thought.

Swap in an SR20, you wont have to swap the pump. :E

i changed my seized water pump on the yellowhead last summer 💩
