a friend of mine bought a sportbike from a Repo auction. How do u go about getting a title for the bike? any help is greatly appreciated

the bill of sale from the auction showing that it was sold to him.

did he already pay all of the taxes? Otherwise they may catch you on that. Then he will need to fill out a form to have them send him the title, if he needs it quick, there is another fee to rush it. I am not sure what it costs, it has been a while since i bought a vehicle.

Im not sure hes going to be able to get a title… :-/ especially if it just came with a bill of sale.

he can get it it just going to take a while, he has to apply for a lost title

The title may very well have blemishes on it… liens… etc etc… this bike might be a TRACK ONLY BIKE… or buy a frame/title combo off [wera.com](http://wera.com) or ebay and use that title

Repo papers take the place of the title. For all intensive purposes they are the title
