I have a laptop a dell inspiron 1100 and after i reinstalled window there is no wireless network on the computer and the internet connections are all messed up so I have no internet on it any ideas how to fix? ---

When you reinstalled the OS did you install your wireless network card? ---

do you have the dell cd’s? There should be a driver disk. ---

I tried reinstalling the drivers off the disk and the ones for the wireless and nothing? They have ones for dell network cards but im pretty sure this laptop doesnt have a internal card I have tried all them. Maybe the correct on is on the windows cd? ---

What version windows? I doubt a generic windows driver will work. IS this card internal or cardbus? ---

windows xp. the driver disk has drivers for wireless but none of them work and i think those are maybe for a different model and those say internal dell card or something like that. Im pretty sure this is cardbus ---

plug into a wire and go to windows update. it should give you a driver that will work. ---

Its a netgear card and I know it works since it works on my other laptop ---

Ok so its a PCMCIA card? What model? Download that models driver and install and it will work.
