# How to legally make 300-400 bucks by Thursday?

Im in a real pickle. I dont get paid enough doing what I do in the construction field and it is putting a real damper on my plans. I am getting my transmission seal changed Thursday which is 110 bucks for parts, then im going to pay my cousin who is doing it whatever he tells me probably a hundred bucks or something like that. Then I have to replace the “reflector/turn signal” light bar on the back of my 99 Legacy SUS. Eventually I am going to have to get a front fender and get it painted after some Seneca scumbags decided they dont like my car I guess. On top of that I am going to Syracuse for the day for my D.O.C line up of appointments as I hope I get this job. Im going to want to spend the night seeing as how I have an early appointment for my psychological interview and I dont want to have to take no doze and look like a crack head. So between my tranny, light bar and a hotel/gas im reeling and I have no options left. Anything I can do legally to make atleast 400 bucks by Thursday? Im trying to sell all my shit and getting no luck. If anyone needs help and can pay to help me out or whatever it would be great. At this point I guess I have no limits so long as it is in a legal way.

FYE gives cash for CD’s/DVD’s/Games.
I traded in a few CD’s a couple weeks back and they offered $30 cash or $50 store credit.

Sell stuff in your room you dont need anymore for a little money
Take what you have and go to the casino and try to double it.
Post on CraigsList for odd jobs. Im sure you can do like cleaning/house work or something for someone for cash.

it’s really no secret…
i wish i had time to go more often, if you know odds, outs, etc…it’s so easy to almost guarantee winning in the poker room.
the first advantage is my mentality…99% of the people that go there think “oh it’s cool, i see it on tv, i wanna go play and see how i do”

the mentality they all go there with is:
a - “i’m only going to bring as much as i want to lose”…so already, they’ve told themselves that they’re going to lose.
b - “at least i’ll get to drink for free all night”…now two things are working for me, they’re justifying that they’ll lose, so they think it’s ok to lose…and on top of that, they’re showing their true intent, not to win money, but just to get drunk…thus making a horrible poker player to begin with even worse.
i go at least once a week, wish i had time to go more…sit down at the 1/2 tables with $100 (the max buy in), which is all i ever need to bring, and play tight for a while until i’ve built up enough money where i can buy some blinds and bully people around ($100 isn’t ever enough to become a table bully), and then i usually leave with $400 or so in front of me.

AMEN. I started studying odds of some of the casino games and have been doing pretty good. There is always chance but you can do your best to beat the odds and play in your favor.
