I spray on heavy duty engine degreaser and let it stay on there for 5-10 minutes then use a airline to blow the crap off. I wouldnt use a rag.

i wouldnt use engine degreaser…i heard bad things about using it…the maf sensor is very sensitive…and that degreaser is strong stuff…use brake cleaner instead just to be on the safe side…hope this helps

No, the sensor itself. Take it out and clean it in a solution of either alcohol or automotive prep wax and grease remover (can get it at UAP). Clean the casing with brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner, then put the sensor back in. Good as new.
