Does anyone know how to retrieve the product key from your computer? Is it possible? I bought this computer with MS Office 2007 installed, and is asking for the product key. The problem is, I don’t have the CD. ---

[http://www.belarc.com/free\_download.html](http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) this should list it when run. just install it and run it. It’ll tell you what hardware you have installed, along with software and product keys. I’m sure there is a way to get it via the registry too, but this is probably easier/safer if you don’t know what you’re doing. ---

run \> regedit navigate there 32-bit versions 2007 Office system HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE \Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration Office 2003 HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE \Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration Office XP HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE \Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Registration 64-bit versions 2007 Office system HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration Office 2003 HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration Office XP HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Registration product ID = key. no downloads needed 🙂 that’ll be tree fitty ---
