I have a timing light and have set the distributor to 20 degrees BTDC as it recomends in the fsm.
But my distributor is turned all the way to the right to get to 20 BTDC. Is this correct? Did i skip a tooth when installing the distributor?

The car doesn’t fire up right away as it should when i try to start it i have to tap the gas to get it to run.

Any suggestions ?
