# How to tell whether: Throw out bearing VS input shaft bearing?

yeah yeah. Just doing what i do tis all

going south more = continuous whine/schreech that changes pitch when clutch depressed, but doesn’t go away completely.

too easy of a job to go in there to just change the TOB. run it till it dies, then fix. you may get another 50K out of it before it even starts to get worse.
