My laptop fell and the a/c charger broke off inside the computer and snapped :picard: i need a new one! the part number is 402018-001 let me know if you have something, thanks ---

if you’re absolutely up a creek, i’m at work and you can use my second. i have a DV-2000 series HP and i’ll lend you mine. stop by towards the end of the day and you can use mine till you order one from flea-bay ($11 shipped) i have one here and one at home. my uncle has one that i’m going to use until mine comes in ordered it on ebay for $9.75 shipped, bestbuy wanted 50$ AFTER the 20$ rebate or something stupid :io: thank you for your offer! ---

By “broke off” do you mean the laptop port broke or the AC adapter broke? If you broke the part that is actually soldered to the motherboard… you can buy the part at Radio Shack Service Center out in Amherst, off of Niagara Falls Blvd, by Red Lobster and Best Buy. To get it soldered though… you’ll need someone who knows what he is doing to remove the old part and put the new one back on correctly. ---

yes the yellow tip thing broke, idk how to explain it, but that whole metal piece just snapped off lol hopefully it will still work when i get a new charger my uncles was a different kind, but my neighbor friend girl is giving me hers
