It’s not surprising people are having issues. The more power you add, the more you decrease the life of the motor (among other problems). You’re start with a 60,000km motor, you add 100hp, and you take years off it’s life. People should prioritize differently. They want power, but they dont want to take the time to find a good engine builder to rebuild and upgrade the core of the motor before the up the jam. The SR can take X amount of power, but in reality if you’re looking for big numbers over the 300 mark, you should equip the motor accordingly to make it reliable first, and powerful second. If you cant finish the race, you can’t win… and even if you lose the race, you still get some points :|. I don’t personally believe that power should be the focus, but rather the reliability of a motor under constant duress. ---

I’m similar to Jesse, running KA-T (T3/T4) and probably pushing in the 200-230rwhp area as well…no dyno yet but plenty of people here have ridden in my car and can attest to it being around that area if that helps any lol. Bing - I see what you’re saying and it does make sense (about only posting REAL numbers), but as long as people are realistic and honest with their estimates and the fact that they’re only estimates, I say people should post them. ---

Hopefully Ontario’s soon-to-be best portable dyno shop opens its doors real soon. when U2NDYNO opens their doors there will be no need for guestimating HP… crosses fingers. ---
