I finished (completed the 10mo. deposits) in Erie County last December… but I just got a job in Ontario County. Can you transfer the account to another county in NYS?

I can’t find anything on their website and if you call an HSBC bank about it, most scratch their heads. Can’t walk into one here and ask about it, either ☹

Call the HSBC Mortgage 1800 #. They know more about it. You want the call center in Depew.

Did you have to pre qualify for a mortgage through HSBC before you could get the account, I was just looking into doing this.

I didn’t. Don’t know if the rules have changed since then, though. I could give you my contact at HSBC and you could ask her, she’s been very helpful
