# HUD cluster problem

my car is a 90 coupe with sr swap

the original cluster is working occasionally, back lights goes on and off at times, when power goes off, speed goes off. but tach and other remains normal.

so today i swaped in an exact same cluster i got off the forum. plug everything in. all works except for the tach (rpm) guage

has anyone had this problem before? how should i fix this problem?

the new cluster (and tach) you just got are likely from a dohc

your best bet at this point would be to swap in your old sohc tach into the new dohc cluster

should have everything working then

its easy as pie taking your new speed display and putting it into your old cluster, then you have working speed and rpm.
