# HUD Installation

Hey guys. I know a few of you have swapped HUD in before. Do I simply swap dashes? Is there some sort of rewiring needed? Do I need the digital cluster or can I keep my needle gauges? What can I use to film my windshield?

The digital cluster is sexy

the only part that sucks is the digital speedometer but who really needs an accurate speed reading? It’s just there for a backup basically.

The tac is what you want to see and the digital cluster puts a giant tac right in the dead center - it’s perfect for someone who actually wants function out of their cluster. it’s a bit fugly, but who cares?! FUNCTION \> FORM

What do you have trouble seeing the tach in a normal cluster? I like the needles. I don’t like the lay out of the Digital and all of the ones I’ve been have been faulty. How does having the windshield wipers on increase speed by 10km/h?

But is there serious no way for it to happen? No way to splice a normal cluster to use HUD?
