if it bulldozes N.O, they will rebuild because they are southern and don’t know any better. Katrina was mother natures way of showing you why you dont build a city below sea level. ---

Sitting at 120 currently. Should be interesting to see how this pans out. Either way, it’s going to cause significant flooding and damage even just as a Cat. 3. Katrina was only a 3 and the worst place to be on a hurricane is the eastern side of the eye. ---

We can’t keep tossing billions on to of billions at an area that has been wiped out twice in 3 years. Buy the land, turn it into a state park, and move people to an area that can sustain living without constant rebuilding. That is how civilized society’s exist. Living in an area that you just want to, for no reason other than thats where you want to, isn’t worth the billions of taxpayers hard earned money. People actually give hours and weeks of their life to earn that money. Lets not waste it. ---

It’s below sea level and has water on 3 sides. On a sunny day they have pumps running constantly to keep the city from flooding. It’s a losing battle that tax dollars should not be spent on. ---

Booo! I woke up and turned on the news expecting to see the levy system failed again, and New Orleans decimated and flooding. Not that what happened isn’t good, but all of us probably enjoy a little chaos and destruction from time to time! The storm looks really weak. The news anchors are standing in what looks like no wind at all… ---

Just another hyped up event that falls to nothing. Even if it was a heavy storm, it was not on a path to cause the same destruction as Katrina. That was a VERY strange set of circumstances. ---
