[quote=HYBOOST;826424]You don’t get paid for the first 7 days you are out. After that it is somewhere around 2/3 of your regular pay up to $400.00? It does suck but if they paid the total amount, there would be more people trying to milk the system & have no reason to go back. Thats why I purchased supplementary disability ins. Depending on which plan you buy, it can cover the difference between comp/disability, etc & your weekly pay.

I think it has to be 10 consequtive work days but I may be wrong. About a year ago I had and ingury and I tried filing for disability and was only out for 9 days so I didnt make out. But as for getting 2/3 of the wages I think your right on the money from what I remember.

See what the employer will offer you. If your going to be out for a while I would say file for comp and see what you can make out on. Making a law suite isnt going to get you anywhere IMO, plus if you plan on continuing to work there after you wont look like a huge ass.
