In my experience the winterforces are great in the snow and will plow through just about anything. It also helps that they are a really good price and most people here demand a cheap price over quality.

On the dry pavement I have never had any issues with noise but they have a much softer sidewall (which is what you want in a winter tire for traction) so they flex and give a loose dry pavement feel. Most winter tires do as well. Unless you spend big bucks for the baller tires like Nokian Hakkapalitas. Which are cheap in the smaller sizes.
