# Hybrid Crossfire Technology

Pretty neat actually. I was shocked to see that big of a performance boot from using the on board GPU to assist the main GPU (even if it’s a little boost, it beats not having any)

Between this and AMD’s new spider platform, they’re coming up with some pretty neat ideas IMO. Weather it’s a gimmick or not, who knows but I may build a spider machine for the hell of it next year to see what the hype is about.

“Hybrid CrossFire is not meant for the enthusiast”

As soon as i read that in the 2nd paragraph, I stopped reading. Although I hope amd/ati come up with some good stuff to compete with intel/nvidia soon. Im sick of them controlling the market as they want to. Need some competition!
