# I drove a viper SRT-10 today

Haha yea… it was fun…
Hmm… it wasn’t as exciting or scary as a bmw 540i m package to me… honestly… it just didn’t feel as scary… as the impresion i got from that bmw…
It was also a surprisingly very soft suspension… like wow… SOFT… :shock:
Haha the shifter was shaking and trembling even at idle 😛
It had a nice fun feel to it… but I wasn’t as excited as I was expecting hehe… it feels like a nice car to have… and ‘affordable’ for what it is…
Not as excitable as euro or jap cars… it just is loose fun regular kind of… i dont know how to explain it…
The seats were nice too hehe… hte one thing i always comment on in cars…
Nice side support, even shoulder support, descent leather and all that…
Nice sound of engine hehehe… would love to hear it again…
It felt slow though… it was very drivable though… fun thing… i didn’t feel any ‘glued to the seat’ experience as I was expecting… it just felt so normal… the needle went up and up and it didn’t feel crazy lol.
Could definetely go on long trips with this thing and feel comfy, happy and with a simle on your face…
Whenever at a red light or stop… everyone turned around and well… everyone turned around at every moment lol… but at every stop it was emberassing being oogled at lol…i’m just like _giggle_ “HI” lol…
Hmm i had a fun day…

haha i didn’t, you’re just wishing I did 😛 And you wish you drove an srt-10 too haha, pwned… Take it ezz man 😉 You dissed first 😛
But I’m telling you honestly… it wasn’t as excitable as I was expecting it to be… I was actually a little disapointed :? Not that… I regret it heh… it’s still such a fun car so I loved it… but it wasn’t all I was expecting… perhaps now a days I’m just too used to speed… and again… excited enough to post about it hehe…
Oh well… one thing for sure… I love rwd… and anxiously await for the rest of my parts for my 240… only a lil while longer…
And while we’re at it… please go into bings section and somebody, some of you go buy 5lug hubs in the group buy (its a great deal too), because I want them already… lol…
And yeah… I’ve had a pretty exciting day today man… Done school, go karting, viper, great food, chilled with ma bros, I had a fly time all day long 🙂 Thank God…

ya sometimes big Torqu cars seem slow, my friend have a Vett with over 460LB TQ and it really does not feel that fast

well all im saying is it felt slow… it didn’t mean it was slow…
Just like if you drive some crappy civic, it feels faster than it actually is, feels less safe, more wild, but you’re still crappy and slow. It feels like it’s falling apart and you’re about to die at high speeds or if you push it to its limit in corners, etc…
The sense of feeling of speed was not endangering, it just kept going faster and faster and you didn’t really feel it… which was kinda fun and well I still enjoyed it hehe, and would love to go back and do it again!
The guy who owns it told me that with the viper you know when to let go off it, but in cars like a 911, you have completely lost your senses as it just drives you to go faster and faster… I guess that’s what I felt in contrast to other crappy cars I drove.
The 540i with m package (which is m5 suspension and brakes), felt insane to me… I was almost scared in it, it just cornered insane and growled! And it was stiffer (you could feel the bumps for sure) while the viper it was soft as cushion…

I have driven Vipers and M5’s at work before and… I don’t know how you could even compare a Viper to an M5? A Viper is so much better in just about every aspect… (except comfort that is lol).
