im not to wise when it comes to getting the right software so im going to need some good info on what to get to kill what ever’s in my computer! its mild now but i don t wanna let it get any worse… any chance theres a web address with a decent free download? ---

download those spyware removers. I use the adaware. After you run a full system scan, and quarantine all files that it finds, restart your computer and see if that takes care of them. ---

You can, it won’t hurt anything. Using more than one spyware removal tool will ensure that everything is caught. I find the adaware usually catches everything (that is the lavasoft link) Some ppl just have faith in one more than the other. I’ve heard good stuff about the microsoft one too… ---

Microsoft Anti-Spyware is the best, I think. You may have to run it in safe-mode, but it sounds like you got the same thing that I had… PITA to get rid of… ---
