so i know there has to be someoen on here thats a cop or works for the courts. so does anyone know what im looking at? Driving Under suspension and for “false and/or alterted papers of insurance” (so they are claiming) ---

a little late. my court is tomorrow at 1:30. isn’t there a law about if the arresting cop isn’t there. you can get out of it or something? ---

Chances are, he’ll be there and that may have been the case a few years ago, however recently that hasn’t stopped them. ---

get a phone book and call a motor vehicle attourney. he can postpone the hearing ---

the papers they have say my insurance kicked in 5/16 my papers say it started 5/01. now all my papers that i received say 5/01 ---

well i originally got in the wreck in niles, ohio and thats who issued the suspension. i was then arrested for driving under suspension in Sebring, Ohio and I went to the DMV down in Youngstown, Ohio and they said my papers dont match up with my insurance papers ---

because i was at fault in the wreck so i was cited. and they said i didnt show proof of insurance is why i got the failed to comply causing the suspension. what i dont get if i didnt show proof of insurance than when i called to find out how much my ticket was going to be why wasn’t i told it wasn’t shown and to mail in a copy of my insurance with my ticket and fine ---

When Driving Under Suspension (DUS) for OVI or DUS without proof of financial responsibility, the court is authorized to order vehicle immobilization and impoundment of the license plates at the time of sentencing within a five year period for: First offense: 30 days Second offense: 60 days Third offense: Forfeit vehicle ---
