# I know theres at least a couple mountain bikers in here.

Jay, i knew I should have just taken a look at that piece while you were still here today. Took me ~10 mintes to repair, just ended up clipping a helicoil for it. No need to weld it, and being a forged aluminum piece welding would have changed the temper of the metal and made it weaker to begin with so this is better.

All set for you. I have it with me in my car in Ballston Spa right now. $15 is the total, sure beat ~$240 for a new part ;D

You should start a bike repair/custom part shop on the side.

Ill be heading to Hunter again on Sunday you guys should come out of the woodwork and ride.

I work 12 hour shifts on the weekends… 7pm-7am
