# I miss Ames (tribute page ITT)

There were a few around. One was in the plaza where Harbor Freight is now and another was on Altamont avenue in Rotterdam (Advance Auto now).  
Sears bought them out, made them Parts America stores and then Advance Auto bought them out.

Kinda like how Adap became Auto Palace and then Auto Zone.

Yeah, I remember going there alot when I was younger. Eckerd bought them out.
