# i need a new laptop battery

ok so i got this laptop [http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68363](http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68363) today and the battery is fried, its holds a charge for like 20 min. i was looking online and what is the difference between the 6 or 12 cells? im guessing a longer charge? and where is a good place to buy one online. i dont want some crappy china fake lol iv seen a few on ebay for like 25, when all the others are 75+

Have you checked amazon? And I never really had an issue with ebay stuff, just remember you get what you pay for.
IMO pony up the 50-60 bucks an just get a decent one.

sweet bc the oem battery only holds like a 1 1/2 hour charge im gunna get the best battery i can 🙂

Generally the batterys with additional cells for more capacity are larger and make the laptop akward to hold and use. But then again, most laptops are hard to use to begin with.
Id just get the cheapest 12 cell I can find. Its all made in china, just often the brandless stuff is the junk china didnt want to give to a good customer.
