So I just did a comparison on a tire site
stock 225/55/16 height- 4.87 in
245/50/16- 4.82 in
255/50/16- 5.01 in
275/55/16- 5.95 in
The speedometer would be off 8.383% too slow with the 275’s so no way would I be getting those.
With the 255’s its only 1.126% too slow so thats manageable.

Ill probably go with the 255’s. I dont want huge tires and the wheels are only 7.5" or 8" wide and I dont want my speedometer to be off alot.

yeah but theyre not smaller. A slight bit bigger is ok but having smaller tires on the rear of a rwd car isnt right

:+1 on hotwheels post…shouldnt have even opened this knowing who started it. You’re not going to listen to what any of us say anyways, but here goes.
GOD DAMNIT PAUL :
1. Fox bodies have PLENTY OF ROOM. Ditch your retarted quad shocks and slap a 275/xx/16 out back. BFG or Nitto.
2. Personally i would go with a Mickey Thompson or BFG, but mickey’s are out of your price range. You’d be better off saving a few more $'s and going with the mickeys later though. Ive had the nitto’s, they dont do much more than a street tire. The BFG’s and Mickey’s are best DR’s IMO.
3. Look into the new Toyo DR. Adam was saying they hook DAMN well. I have no personal experience with them, but Toyo does make some odd-ball sizes. I dont know how they compare in price, however.
4. Don’t bother buying them if you’re going to complain about the rocks being spit up from them. You will probably drive the car even less if thats going to bother you.
5. .1" is going to bother you? Your CRAZY bro. You will NEVER notice that. EVER.
6. Finally, having a slightly wider tire out back does not give your car the “drag” look. If you want to backhalf the damn thing and slap a 30x16 out back, yeah you’ll look “dragish”. FYI my car comes with 275’s up front and 295’s out back, doesnt look like a drag car.

Ok…
1. Your speedo is more than likely “off” anyways with the 4.10’s you have in it
2. The 245 nitto has the SAME O/D as your factory 225’s do. Not even .1’’ off, which is ridiculous anyways. You’d NEVER see that, and even if you know its a tad smaller, who the fuck cares.
