# I should be hitting 20 mph

At the end of jumping out of a plane this morning. If its more towards the 120mph side of the spectrum, I may not be posting anymore, but then again maybe I can ghost post. Ha God speed ! Hell yah whoot whoot lol

20 mi/hr \* 5280 ft/mi / 3600 sec/hr = 29.3 ft/sec

Acceleration due to gravity = 32.2 ft/sec/sec

You’d better hope you hit more than 20 mph. I don’t think you’re supposed to pull the chute less than a second after jumping.

If you’re going with Frontier Skydivers, then big :tup:

Biggest rush you’ll ever have. even though there is a man strapped to your back.

120 is about right. We leaped from ~13k’ and popped the chute @ ~3k’ = ~60 seconds of freefall. IIRC… its been a few years.

10k’ / min = ~113 mph
