I dont think it’ll make much difference.With what it would cost you in materials to do that I could get you a cheap athlon processor or see if I have one laying around that i’d donate for free.

Socket A? What motherboard is it?

EDIT : with those crazy temps you’d need a water chiller and it seems like its not worth the hassle for a processor thats on its death bed.
