they’re still around. occasionally I’ll see them on ESPN2 or something. it’s the pro wrestling of motorsports - but a lot of corn-dog-eatin’, mullet-wearin’, bud-light-swillin’ fun to go to one. big, dumb, and a great time.

Yeah… They also had a “train” on tank treads it was flippin’ sweet.
And they are shown on the Speed Channel on the weekends I think, I’m not sure of the time, but it used to be a sure thing during the week at like 6PM-7PM. Then things changed ☹

Search google video for monster trucks. There are some cool vids.
Bigfoot was my favorite, but not the regular one. The one that had the HUGE 10’ tall tires. Anyone remember that?

Now theyre all stupid looking fiberglass bodies with arms and teeth and stuff.
They used to be real trucks jacked up on tractor tires.
I still have a tape off ESPN from '86 or so with the real monster trucks. It also has swamp buggy races on it. My mom taped it for me when I was 5 and its still in the vcr cabinet.

i loved that game! always needed the big tires for the hill climb because they always wore down to nothing by the end.
