No he was quite clearly talking about the Hanabi’s which are lower offset than the +35 he speaks of. ---

😉 i dont even know what just happened. what the hell offset are the hanabis? i thought they were 35 too all i know is that my wheels will come close to the fender because of the overall width not the offset. no more sleepy posting for me ---

9" bihatchslapp i dont need spacers, sasha will back that fact up. he had the same size and offset on his S13 with BIGGER tires than me. ---

considering mine are +20 offset 17x9 and they JUST reach the fender edge i dont see how you need to roll… if anything you should be pushing your fenders in so it looks ok. but well soon see now wont we. GT ---

i think they might get pretty close to the coilovers tho on the front. The +20 have good clearance with back suspension, but not alot on the front. Maybe need spacers on yours so you dont rub on the suspension. Can you post a pic of the wheels? You should check the Z brake clearance for fronts, i think you are running Z brakes correct? ---

umm… Ty, maybe you should read one of those tech articles posted in your magazine called “Undertand Offsets”, or any other sport compact magazine out there. Mike is right, you might rub the coilover and will probably need spacers. Then again, you need them anyway to make your wheels flush. 15mm will do 😉 ---

i dont have Z brakes i have type-x brakes. the wheels will clear wether i need spacers or not by the time u bod menz see my car they’ll be on there… and they’ll look 1,000,000 times better than the hanabi’s 😉 ---

Type-x are not much of an upgrade over stock, but I guess they are slightly bigger… you called us “bod menz”, I don’t know what that means, please explain. and honestly, if you have nice wheels, power to you. Aren’t they montegi’s? It’ll be cool if your car comes out looking good. And you’re right, hanabi’s are damn ugly. ---

i had 245 / 45 / 16 on my coupe 2 years ago with my 8 +32’s in the rear. at the time i had AGX’s and Tokcio springs, i went up to 50 on the AR and it rubbed in the corners a bit. but yeah 245’s are easy on an S13 in the rear.
