Car shows were so different in LA. When I was out there years ago alot of people would not open there hood at public shows. Undercover cops would walk around the show and inventory all the cars with mods and write down VIN numbers to make sure everything was legit.
Seems to me they should have been worrying about the drug trafficing, murders, or the every day occurrence of a high speed chase on the highway. But yeah, street racing was a big deal out there.

exactly…just because they received stolen parts does not mean they actually knew…because this article seems to be crushing cars with the “caught street racing” & “stolen parts”…i mean sure people shouldn’t street race…but has that ever stopped anyone before?

You guys know you can be arrested/fined for receiving stolen property in PA too…what’s the big deal? All my shit is brand new from the manufacturer.

Thats a retarded argument they’re talking about checking vins to parts, BOVs obv, aren’t vin’d and nowhere in that article did they say small parts like that, they’re talking about engines and transmissions. :jerkit:

The point is why crush a whole car when you can just remove the stolen part and fine the person? Crushing a car is past the line…to some people cars are like their women…i can see some retaliation coming soon
