I should have posted this in Off Topic, but I don’t think there’s enough Leafs fans in there. I’ll move it later. Yeah, 6-0 in the first period… and I though the leafs got smoked. ---

For 15 mill a year he should be robbed then shot… put in Tellquist, the team as a whole plays better with him in net… Otherwise, Alfredson can die. ---

There was a hockey game on last night? And also so what if you beat Toronto in the regular season. When you win in the playoffs that will be a different story. Although with the spanking Toronto has been getting from ottawa all year I’d be surprised if Ottawa lost again in the playoffs to Toronto. ---

Well as far as I know, Belfour is their largest expense. However they have Pogge (Canadian Junior goalie) and the Russian goalie as Leafs propects. If this is the case the leafs will get rid of Belfour after his contract end and have 2 reasonably priced goalies with plenty of skill. Lets hope their scouting department doesn’t botch this up. ---

well clearly not belfours fault… over 40 shots from the best team in the leage and he lets in 7, not that bad. could have been twice that many. ottawa is good but when its playoff time the leafs will dust them like they always do. ottawa has one good line and a bunch of stiffs… hockey is about longevity and depth. they wont be able to last until june banking on one good line and a 40+ year old goalie. the leafs have 4 good lines when everyone is healthy and our backup goalie could start for any team in the league on a good day. ottawa blows. ---

Why do you guys always talk about the playoffs? It’s rediculous. Ottawa has only made the playoffs 5 times in their 15 year history, and were beaten out twice by the leafs when they were also a good team. We have consistently made the playoffs each year, while getting better. We’re now the best we’ve ever been. Remember the last playoffs? Who got beaten out first? In fact, how many times have you been beaten out since 1962? It’s all you guys ever say or can say… and it’s stupid. So shut up. ---

Right… you’re talking about our ONE fourty year old player? Who has shut you out on 2 occasions this season? While we stomp you by 7 or 8 goals? Allison? Lindros? Belfour? All you have is McCabe, Sundin and Kaberle… it’s your team who is full of stiffs. Check out the +/- for ALL of our players, not just the first line. ---
