I am gauging interest for my 1995 Nissan 240sx SE. I am the third owner, the car originally came from South Carolina where it spent 13yrs, then went to NJ for a little less than 2yrs, and then I bought it and imported it last summer. It has never seen a winter and is rust free. The chassis has 200,000miles on it but the engine was rebuilt at 80,000miles. The gauge cluster is showing a little less than the registered miles (2000miles less) because the speedo was bouncy and needed to be replaced. Before winter I installed a new clutch, tie rods, rear brakes, resealed the engine, inspected the transmissions internals/resealed the transmission, new battery, and installed the complete exhaust system with a brand new hi-flow cat. It will need an alignment. I put about 400miles on the new clutch breaking it in properly. Currently the car is almost completely stock with the exception of the following: - Header (unknown brand) - 2.5" hi-flow cat - 2.5" Vibrant cat-back exhaust system - front strut bar - Sony Headunit - Alpine type-r components in the front, tweeters mounted in the stock location using modified stock mounts and the crossovers mounted in the center console powered by an alpine amp (again, i dont know the model number off the top of my head) and everything tied together using monster cables. The bad: - minor crack on rear bumper - sunroof needs a new seal - front lip is a bit chipped - thermostat is stuck open but I have a new nismo one ready to install - missing shift boot, and the shifter needs the snap ring that holds it in place. - missing glovebox mounting bracket so the glovebox isn’t installed The car is stored for the winter so it can’t really be taken for test drives right now because I don’t want it touching salt if you don’t end up buying it. Some may think it’s a bit on the high-side but it’s pretty hard to find a rust free 240 nowadays. PM me if you are interested, I’m not very motivated to sell and am just gauging interest at the moment, but I probably won’t reject a reasonable offer. I would also consider a trade for a manual Mazda Miata + cash. The car is located in Windsor. ---

Thanks! I wish I could keep it, but it’s just not practical while in school so I want to get a Miata that’ll be cheap gas, insurance, and maintenance. Hopefully get back into a 240 after school. One thing though, the EGR tube needs to be connected to the header, but I can’t do it because I just had surgery on my wrist a few weeks ago. ---

Honestly, I don’t know. I just know it’s a lot more solid than the pacesetter or w/e header that was on there before. I just wish that when I was installing it I attached the egr tube properly the first time so I could actually hear how the car sounds without it disconnected. And honestly, if my wrist gets better that I can actually fix it and I hear how the car sounds without the egr connection just being open I don’t see the car staying for sale. Plus, I talked to my insurance company and they dropped my rates by more than $1700/year if I stay with them. So like I said, if it doesn’t sell soon I’m going to fix the egr tube, redo the safety, get an e-test and put it back on the road. Especially since all the miata’s in my price range don’t even come close to being as clean as this. ---

There has been a lot of interest lately, I keeping getting like 5 texts/emails/calls/pm’s a day, so I thought I would post this up for all to see; There is a guy coming from QC on the 10th, he has first dibs and seems serious. If he doesn’t buy it I will message those that were interested. So unless you are going to offer me a decent amount more than my asking price and come this weekend it’s pretty much sold. Thanks. Not sure about best buy ever but it could be up there. I regret dropping the price how much I did though, but I guess that’s what happens when you want a quick sale. Now I have like 7 people that want it if the QC guy doesn’t get it and they all say they’ll come that Thursday lol. ---
