# ICE people: single DIN flip out screen.

I have a DVD head unit and a non motorized flip out screen i got for 150 bucks… they are separate components… I am interested in replacing the screen with a motorized one… any links to products? I am not interested in an all in one setup… just a flip out monitor.

That will probably be pretty expensive. Wow, that looks straight up made in china stuff, where’d you get that? I suppose they would probably make one with a motor, but if it breaks, you’re SOL. in Buffalo, i would stick with manual

Wow … Ive seen some garbage screens come through my work … but that one takes the cake
Good job shopping on ebay…
I suggest getting rid of them both and stepping up to a baller double-din

lol. it’s not from ebay… and you can’t tell me that 150 bucks for the DVD head unit and the screen is a bad deal… regardless of quality… It’s alright, works great, just not real leet or anything…

that’s the guys car i bought it from. It’s in my car now. He cut his trim bezel, i didn’t have to. I just didn’t see the need to take more pics.
I’m glad my car doesn’t have that POS cup holder that springs out of the dash
that shit’s real bunk.

Best bet for a relatively decent motorized monitor would be a Clarion VRX series. They have a few models monitor only for around $500. Like this:

If you really look around you can find some of the older gen units going for $300, or maybe even less. The unit I have (6671) I’ve seen selling for about $300 or so. Typical screen size is ~7" with aux and plugins for a TV Tuner module. The older units can benefit with a digital processor (sold separately). Some of the newer units have the digital processor built in.
