# Idle stalling problems

my car was running fine and then it started stalling every time i stopped or put the clutch in,the rpm’s would drop very suddenly and then stall
i left the car for awhile and then started it again,drove around,the problem was gone
i don’t want this to happen more frequently so i better fix it before it gets worse
what should i check first?

if your car is sputtering or kinda just limping along it could be the oxygen sensor.

not sputtering or limping along at all,just the rpms drops past idle till it stalls when not gassing it or in gear

check all your intake/ vacume lines one might have become disconected…also maybe fuel pump/filter

Yeah sounds like vacuum lines. Soapy water will help find leaks.

would it be a vacuum hose if it comes and goes only once in awhile? it seems like every time it acts up i can switch on cruise control and it will disappear
