Surprisingly it’s been pretty lame thus far. Not as many protesters as expected for the G20 Summit.Tomorrow will be day 3. Pretty much the entire city has been shut down. They have been using that military sound weapon thing.
Shit didn’t really start to go down until a small group of protesters gathered outside the PITT dorms. Then all the college kids came out and started harassing the swat teams. They finally whipped out the tear gas…not on protesters but on a bunch of college kids. Ha.
Listening to the police scanner [http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=2242](http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=2242) and SWAT just beat down a female and she was bleeding from the head. Good times.

i grew up and went to college in pittsburgh. all of my friends stated that they “weren’t going to do anything while the G20 is in town. it’s gonna be crazy!” shits weak
i remember PITT protesters/college students (they’re the same thing anyways) during the 04 election. they’re always douchebags down there.

They let over 1,000 non-violent offenders out from the prison downtown in preparation for protester arrests. Only 66 people arrested thus far. Weak.
I was really hoping this would be full blown mayhem. Turns out when our sports teams win, more exciting stuff happens…i.e. burning couches, flipped over cars, etc. Damn these stupid peaceful hippies…
The craziest part is seeing the security everywhere. I went shopping Thursday and there were military, SWAT, and military choppers EVERYWHERE, and the streets were practically empty of people. Very eerie.

Pittsburgh is pretty similar to Buffalo, but slightly cooler for sure.
The S.W.A.T. teams were still at PITT last night. It got pretty ugly there. As douchebaggy as the PITT students are, the cops got a little out of hand. They were going after everyone and anyone, even people just watching. LOL! Of course the protests in Pittsburgh are lame, too many nice people in that city. Plus all the know-it-all college hippies…are in school. Pittsburgh’s a cool town, I always like going down there.
