# If Nissan brought back the 240sx.

If Nissan was to bring back the 240sx to compete with Toyota’s FRS, Genesis Coupe, and Miata, which factory body stile/engine setup do you think they should take inspiration from? Please keep it clean just post your opinions and why you think it would do well on the market or be an awesome car. Sorry in advance if I missed a body style.
I think the 180sx type X body style is my favorite. It has all the sport car look that you get with the s13 hatch backs plus all the upgrades like s14 seats body kit so on. It was also turbo charged. I think this car would be a great start to help reimagine the 240sx in this day in age. I also think if they could get the price on par with the FRS 25,000 it will truly compete and could make Nissan a lot of money.
I think the s14’s and s15’s Slivia and so on are fun cars but all look like your run of the mill point A to B car. and I think the Altima looks very much like a recreation of these kind of cars.

lol ill buy a updated brand new s chassis for 30g and + if its made out of carbon fiber lolololol
cause with all these crazy prices on a cars im pretty damn sure sporty vehicle from nissan aint gonna be cheaper then 30g anyway lol

They didnt sell well the first time though!Although the tuning community wasn’t what it is now.And I’m a kouki fan as most of us are
240sx are awesome cars but they don’t have the same heritage as the Z chassis does,I could have sworn I had heard something about a 240 concept car done by nissan recently.
Anyways it would most likely be an S13 inspired design,due to the fact that stock they look like a sports car.

There has been talk of a new 240 for quite awhile. I just searched it again and found this interesting article from Nov 2012

It looks a bit big to me but nice. The brz/fr-s I think is selling well so hopefully it drives nissan to make a light weight mid $20,000’s sport car.

im sure it would do well, i see Hyundai Genesis’ all over town lol, and i could have sworn I’ve read somewhere that Datson was coming to North America guess im mistaken.

I bet if it does come back, they will do a multiple inspiration thing. Like the frs and the 2000gt, ae86, kinda deal.
