A go kart is a race car ?
Your reading comprehension sucks. Do you see the post above where its stated that Porsche’s PDK system is similar to DSG and similar to their technology used in race cars for the past 20 years? What part of that technology used in the race cars is not relevant?
FWIW, PDK was never available in a 911. It was tested in a 962 (Group C racing car) in the mid 80s. A lot of information was published about it in the press at the time.

You said this was “porsche technology in a vw” which it is not. Sure porsche had a system similar[size=2] but is it the same? Nope because PORSCHE HAD NO IMPLIMENT IN THE DESIGN OF THE DSG TRANNY. Same concept, but not the same design.[/size]
