Hmm while I do not know the kid and from what I read, he seems to be a douche and did lie about apparent kicks to the chest… I’m going to put on my common sense hat here and say that if he did want to press charges he had the right to.

You had intentions to hit him and called him outside and then punched him. Albiet, you didn’t kick him but personally you should have got charged with assault.

He probably deserved it and in my case I probably would have clocked his ass too but if I got in trouble I wouldn’t make a thread about it.
