I would seriously hope that any self-respecting citizen would help a cop if they were in serious trouble. Even though a lot of them can be pricks, they’re still human beings. ---

^ only a moron would say “fuck yeah” to a question like this. of course you have to asses. the op didn’t say what kind of trouble. so yes, I use my brain. do you use yours? but let’s keep going with this. does the situation say, involve me getting to wear his flak jacket and billy club or pistol whip some degenerates?..maybe i’d be in. on the other hand, if he looked like the trooper that left me on the side of the road at 2pm one night several years ago…i’d keep going. ---
