I imagine they could convince Diebold to put in hooks to have the outcome a certain way and rig just about anything and make it look like it was done fairly. Who the heck knows. I’d like to have a real, honest third party assessment of the votes without tainting and some way to verify each person’s vote. Alternatively, with the internet we’re almost at a point _technologically_ where we don’t need a Representative Republic any more. We could have a true Democracy with the internet being so abundantly available. Log on biometrically and cast your vote. This could lead to no more “lifer politicians”. No more cushy job while sucking off the teat of the American people’s hard earned income. (^^^ this is one possible outcome…I’m not saying I like it, either.
