i need an ignition coil for my 1996 vw golf gti vr6, i dont really wanna pay 280 for a new one right now, so if you have one let me know.

theyre called coilpacks, and you could always do this

ford coilpacks are really cheap, can be easily found at the junkyard, and will last a lot longer than a vw one. good luck

also, for the time being you can jbweld the coilpack. just cover the fucker in the shit. worked good on my old vr

i dont have the time and/or knowledge to build that lol i just kinda wanna get a stock one so it can be done and over with.
