What do you guys run for ignition in ur cars? I’ve heard of the msd blaster coils and the msd modules. . .just saw this on aem’s 240 project.

Just get a MSD coil and some god wires and call it a day.
Get this one , but you will have to get a different wire from the Dizzy to the coil.

I have the MSD coilpack and 7AL Ignition module. Works great, but I have an SR20DE 🙂

Stock = Best.
Unless you have a very heavily modified engine stock is more then enough, and it works great.

Maybe its a Nissan thing… Because you can push over 800 on a factory Honda ignition system.

are you kidding me^^??? I had a fall off on a scope run with my old race honda. I cant see 800hp on a honda coil??? Maby im wrong.

ppl always like to buy shiet they don’t need.
Like if ur rotor and cap are good wire resistance is good , spark plugs are proper type and gap and ur oem coil is in good working shape u should be ok till about 500whp
Again it doesn’t hurt to get thiker wires , iridum plugs and a more powerfull coil , ur motor will be more responsive but won’t make anymore power than it did before. If ur factory shiet is bad than GET msd etc instead of OEM otherwise use that money someplace else.
If u blowing a spark out ,cap ur plugs properly for amount of boost u runing. Foil ur plugs get a step colder etc.
