Ilya, this is a really nice car the way it sits. Half of the shit you talked about doing seems like a complete and total waste of time and $. What is the point of a catch can on a stock vehicle? Also im guessing Nissan/Infiniti made the brakes more than adequate to stop that car. Also drop it, ehh maybe…Why coilovers? Your probably not going to find something to make the vehicle ride much better than it already does. The light bulbs i guess i can understand, but how bout pick up a nice set of 20’s for the summer and tint your windows. Probably the only two mods worth your time IMO for this car. Its too nice the way it sits to fuck with, its also your daily, why fuck with it? ---

i really like these cars. but would love to see a vip build, but i don’t care about ride quality at all in cars. but its your cars and not mine so have fun with it. ---

Catch can is more a efficiency/peace of mind thing for me. If it helps the engine even minimally, for $40 or whatever, it doesn’t hurt. Brakes may be ‘adequate’. But that’s not what I want. I want AWESOME brakes. Coilovers are strictly for the look. I do intend to get bigger rims (most likely 19" M-Sport wheels)…so if it sits too high for my liking, I’ll need to get em. Springs will be too rough I think. Same goes for the aero kit. That’s all look, and it’s an OEM piece from the M-Sports, which is the car I actually wanted. I had to kind of “settle” for the AWD non-sport car. As for the tint, the car IS tinted (probably like 35% or 30%) but the back window is not. I want to improve the brakes from ‘adequate’ (above) to ‘great’ or ‘awesome’. From my reading, drilled rotors tend to crack under pressure. Will I brake hard enough to do that? Who knows. Slotted tend to last longer and also give that performance boost than just blank ones. Catch can was answered above. For the price, even if it only helps just a little tiny bit, for me (IMO) it’s worth it. ---

You won’t notice that much of a difference from blank to slotted rotors… but you are right about drilled rotors. They are a complete waste of money. You’d see more of an improvement with more aggressive pads or better yet, a big brake kit. Car is looking good though, can’t wait to see it lowered on the 19s with the aero package. ---
