Dun dun dun!
I’m actually not sure how many people are left here who remember me. I understand a lot of the old timers have moved on to newer and more expensive cars, but I’m sure some have stayed true to their 240 origins, if not at least Nissans…
I’ve bought a '92 White Hatch for a winter/daily. Sorry, don’t beat me for winter driving a 240, believe me when I say I know ALL about the rust issues. It has some in the usual spots, although I’ve seen much worse. All around the car’s in pretty good shape, and I fully intend to cut/weld, patch and seal the problem areas before another 240 falls victim to Canadian winter.
So to those who remember me… I’m returning to the 240 world!

No kidding, it HAS been a long time! Since the CP days I think… with your orange S13… I still have that picture we took on my black s13 mocking your pic of the “models” on yours at Darknights. Ring any bells?
I didn’t realize you lived in Caledon! I saw your white R34 on Mayfield Rd a couple weeks back though. You caused quite a stir with that thing, didn’t you? 😛

Worked there once, a long time ago. Before the shit hit the fan.
I don’t have his number or know how to get in touch with him anymore, before you ask. Yes, I know he screwed a lot of people out of money and parts. I have heard it from many people. He’s keeping his head down, which is the smart thing for him to do at this point…

Hey not to worry about that. I didn’t know Chris in a professional capacity so I have no ill feelings towards the situation. I really wasn’t even aware of any shit flying. I know he moved the business around and eventually ended up washing his hands completely of it. Anyway…I was just curious, I see the CP name thrown around a bit on here and was wondering if it was associated with that business.

I do, however, remember struggling with Bruce’s clutch in that really cramped garage for hours and you showed up with a bunch of guys. Brian became “seatbelt guy”, and there were a few other names and tasks for people. You were something of a coordinator then. I was, at that point, exhaust, frustrated, and pissed off, so I supervised. lol

yeye i was the one who got the trany back together in 30 min, i was actually under the car remember i turtled the bitch, i hope u dont still take 9 hours to do a tranny in a 240

Sure, when they’re the right clutch for the car… The clutch that you guys muscled in, which we were having so much difficulty with, was for a CA18DET. It doesn’t fit! He blew the clutch slave, remember?
Here’s hoping you don’t always muscle things in when they don’t fit properly these days.

We went somewhere in your brother’s escort a while back too. Can’t remember what for, but you were having trouble with your car at the time and I was trying to help you out. I remember the highschool parking-lot “drifting” though. Would love to see the vids… Do you still have mine of the one-wheel-peel!? lol! I’d love to see that rot-box again.
Rest assured my new 240 is in MUCH better shape.
