Bingo. I work hard and I dont think some lazy shithead should get a cushy hospital room for the last 5 years of his life ON MY DOLLAR.

You keep saying “oh just raise taxes” - we, all of us, are paying that. The government doesnt have warehouses full of cash. We pay them, then they buy things on our behalf.

Did you know in socialist European countries (where there is universal healthcare), they have dramatically less new patents per capita than democratic nations? Big surprise, THERE’S NO INCENTIVE TO WORK HARD so why would you try?
