long story short, i went to reinstall my sub into my car. i secured it down with two L brackets on either side of the box and screwed it into my spare tire cover. well, i couldnt find my screws i used before so i just grabbed four i found. shortly after i was done screwing the L brackets down i hit me that these screws were a good bit longer than the ones i used before. so i started to take out the one screw and i heard a soft psshhhhhhh comin from the hole. DAMMIT TO HELL!!! i just put 4 screws into my spare tire. i yi yi. do tire places sell donut replacements? :doh: :doh: ---

hahaha, thats good man… at least you can laugh about it. one of the guys i know from philly was drillin holes to put his underbody neon kit on, he slipped and put a hole in his gas tank!! that was an expensive mistake. ---

who the fuck uses L brackets to install a box. That sucks though buit they right, you dont need a spare tire. Stil l dumbest thing I ever heard, thats why people pay to have stereos installed. Be glad you didnt drill into your gas tank then youd be relly fucked ---

well, the L brackets are just there to keep the box from movin around in my trunk becuase the carpet isnt held down with anything. and to drill into the gas tank i would need screws about 8 inches long to get to it.
