I’ve been looking into buying a Miata, but I didn’t bother posting about it on here for lack of wanting to scroll through eight pages comparing me to King Tirekicker, SloShelby. So I found a few that were reasonably priced, so I figured I’d drive Amanda’s grandmother’s 1990 5-speed Miata today to get a feel for the car again: I’m about two inches too tall, thirty pounds too heavy, and about six shoe sizes too big to drive one. After driving the Miata to Starbucks and back, I had a horrible cramp in my right leg, my feet were too big to hit the brake without hitting the clutch (and vice versa), and my 1/2-inch long hair scraped on the soft top the entire time. Bear in mind, I’m only 6’ 180lb, and I wear size 11 or 12 shoes. So, I guess I have to rule out buying one. :mad: ---

You’re just not queer enough for it. I guess thats a good thing. They’re designed for petite men or women. ---

Yea, I’ve ridden in one, and I’m 6’7" 250lbs size 15 shoe and I felt like I was in a clown car. I had to have the top back or else I didn’t fit in, and even then I had about 2 to 3 inches of my head sticking over the windshield. I wasn’t too disappointed about not fitting in a miata, but what sucked was when I hopped in a s2000 and got the same result, only this time I “only” had 1 to 2 inches of my head sticking over the windshield. oh well :dunno: ---
