> plenty of imports even WITH cylinder type mufflers sound great. its all in the size of the resonator and the packing type. cheap mufflers tend to use cheap sparse packing. high quality resonators ie hks, skunk2, rsr, tanabe, apexi, fujitsubo, mugen, buddyclub dont produce the raspy sound that tsudo, yonaka, apc, and the unlimited ebay cheapies do. not to mention the cornucopia of exhaust systems for import cars that do NOT have cylinder type mufflers. people really should read more, you included.

I don’t want to read more about them!!! That’s why I was asking people here on this forum because I knew that they could educate me a little on this subject!
Not really interested in being an expert on 4 cyl cars…Import or not! Just wanted to know the reasoning behind a lot of the differences. A bunch of people came back with some good stuff for me. I thank those that gave up some good info!

Dirtfarmer huh? That supposed to be an insult because I don’t like the way a lot of 4 cyl cars with stupid, cheap mufflers sound?
