if the kid don’t wanna say it, just have him mutter “under frog” or “wonder dog” something. it’s not like there’s a gun to the kid’s skull.
taking that out is absolutely retarded IMO. it’s been there forever and it was written the way it was intended. leave it and worry about real issues, like the kid’s test scores or the eightball you found in his jacket pocket.
try and keep the ensuing shitstorm civil.

hey if we said it the way it was “intended” by the author, it wouldn’t have “under god” in it.
(so what I’m trying to say is that …
it hasn’t been there forever. it was written without “under god” … that was added in later, to prove some point to the communists that we were godly and they weren’t… or something stooopid like that)

I hate how the constitution is supposed to provide for the acceptance of all religions, but so often it get slightly misinterpereted as preventing the recognition of any religion.
Like not being allowed to pray in a public school. If it were interpereted as intended, you just could not be forced to pray in public school. Likewise, You should be allowed to say “under God” but not forced to. Keep the line in there and let those who believe say it and those who don’t keep their mouth shut for 1.5 seconds.

and i love the fact that the under god was added after the fact. it makes it that much funnier for all the “it’s been this way so leave it” people
