im moving soon, and need to start packing things up. I need alot of boxes, only thing is they need to be durable. anyone work in an industrial setting and has access to a bunch?

yea but they usually frown upon just walking in and taking the boxes, and most of their boxes are open top display boxes ☹

If you end up not finding boxes anywhere, Home Depot sells some heavier moving boxes. Don’t remember the price though… mine have lasted through 2 moves, and will make it through 1 more ;D

I’ve moved 3 times over the last 6 years w/o issue. I go right in the back and grab them?

They typically have to break down and throw out the boxes they get with their inventory. You are doing them a favor.
The ones at Home Depot are definately better quality but it adds up when you pay $2-5 a pop.

actually jay this couldnt be better timing, i told them to grab a bunch for me about 20 minutes ago i can get shit ton of boxes, form the walmart arcoss the street that arent breakdowns.

Tip for people needing moving boxes…drop into a Sams Club or BJ’s wholesale store and ask for boxes. Huge boxes they tend to give away. I go to BJ’s in rotterdam and get boxes all the time.

Jason- I have some boxes at Advance as well. Mostly oil cases and such, but we do get a few big ones.

iight jay i got a HUGE pile of them. i had to get boxes to mail shit out, and BJ’s/Rotterdam walmart/local liquior store decided to give me uber amounts.
